Welcome to Willowgrove on the River Holiday Park
Willowgrove on the River Holiday Park is a permanent / tourist park located 20km South of Gladstone in Benaraby, Queensland. Situated on 20 acres of rolling land, the park is currently configured for approximately 40 permanent residents, 70 powered tourist sites, 13 tourist cabins and 7 on-site vans.
The park offers good facilities including a new camp kitchen which is very popular among guests. There is also a pool and BBQ area located in a shady palm-lined setting.
Fishing enthusiasts are well catered for with boat ramps provided at Boyne Island, Tannum Sands, Calliope River and the Narrows. Choice mud crabs are harvested from the rivers and estuaries during the summer months and prawns are caught offshore.
Lake Awoonga is located just 10 minutes drive from Willowgrove, and is popular with visitors and locals alike as a recreation area with first-class facilities - including kiosk, picnic shelters, barbeques, playgrounds, landscaped walking trails, boat ramps, toilets and disabled parking.
Boats, canoes, kayaks and catamarans for use on the lake are all available for hire.
